After graduating from the idol group "Dempagumi.inc," Nemu Yumemi is active in a wide range of fields, including as the producer of the original character "Tanukyun," and as the head of "Yumemi Bookstore," which claims to be "a bookstore that nurtures future book lovers" and mainly deals in picture books. This book conveys the joy of coming into contact with picture books through an introduction to Yumemi's picture book works.

The book introduces about 100 stories divided into categories such as "babies," "food," and "reading aloud." The appeal of the stories is expressed in a unique style that can only be felt by the author, who runs a bookstore and comes into contact with picture books every day.

■The talk show will feature Harapeko Megane, Keiko Shibata, and Kenji Ozawa

As a special feature, the magazine features a dialogue between Harapeko Megane, an illustration unit that works on the theme of "food," Keiko Shibata, a picture book author whose "Bread Thief" series has sold over 1.5 million copies, and Kenji Ozawa, a musician and father of two children. Each dialogue centers around picture books, but is also interesting in that it expands into a wide range of topics, including creativity and education.

The book was designed by Masataka Kikuchi, and photographer Shintaro Nakamura also participated, resulting in a volume that will be enjoyed by a wide range of generations for a long time.

Bookstore owner and character producer. Born in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. Graduated from Tama Art University. Was a member of the idol group "Dempagumi.inc" and retired from show business after 10 years in March 2019. In July 2019, opened "Yumemi Bookstore" in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, which mainly deals with picture books. In parallel with running the bookstore, he also produces "Tanukyun Friends," a unit made up of a mint green raccoon named Tanukyun and his friends .
